ST. THOMAS

Bliss Bar & Night Club pulses with dancehall and soca rhythms in the heart of Charlotte Amalie. This popular spot features a rotating group of local DJs, as well as live performances. Hookah, along with Hennessy cognac and Tito’s Vodka shots, are de rigueur at this club.

As a combination dance club, casino and restaurant, Nuvo Lounge gives patrons lots to do all night long. The restaurant serves high-end dishes like New York strip, lobster and crab legs. The casino offers a wide selection of blingy slot machines. End the night in the neon lights of the dance club, which pumps reggaeton, dancehall and soca music.

A literal thatched-roof shack in the middle of a parking lot, Duffy’s Love Shack offers laid-back fun, food and drinks. A beloved St. Thomas hangout for decades, this casual spot features tiki bar decor, bites like conch fritters and burgers, and drinks served in ceramic skulls. Rock and country music, as well as weekly live performers, add to the free-wheeling atmosphere.

Set right on the cruise ship port, Virgin’s Haven is a rustic neighborhood bar that serves up smiles and well-priced sips. The open-air ambiance allows visitors to enjoy water views while drinking cocktails and eating bar food like fish tacos and mussels. Live music is featured weekly.

Perfectly situated for guests to soak up Caribbean Sea vistas, Sapphire Beach Bar offers a relaxed setting for drinks and music. The casual menu includes burgers and coconut shrimp, along with fruity cocktails like the Guava Freeze. Live music on Sundays often turns into a beach party, with dancing on the sand.

ST. CROIX

An elegant courtyard festooned with greenery and twinkling lights is the festive setting of Dazzled STX cabaret and dance club. A popular place for music and dance lovers, the club features World Music Night (soca, Afro beats, bachata) on Fridays and Salsa Night on Saturdays — with free dance lessons. The bar also serves cocktails and tapas.

Coconut Night Club presents reggae, soca and dancehall music in a high-energy atmosphere. Besides local DJ sets, Coconut Night Club also hosts karaoke and bingo nights every week, as well as special themed events.

A charming veranda that fronts a sparkling pool and the beach makes The Deep End Bar & Grill a great place to take in St. Croix’s natural beauty while enjoying cocktails and music. A part of the Tamarind Reef Resort, the bar is popular with locals for lively bingo nights and live music. Friendly vibes and an all-day menu top off the experience.

ST. JOHN

Famous for excellent Painkillers, Bushwackers and Cruz Bay sunset views, The Beach Bar is a St. John landmark. Located down the beach from the ferry dock, the bar offers live music on most nights, featuring a varied mix of rock, reggae, country and folk. Crabmeat wontons, Reuben egg rolls and cheese balls are popular late-night nibbles.
