U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM ISSUES OPEN CALL FOR HOSPITALITY GREETERS AND ENTERTAINERS
St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands (USVI) –October 2, 2023– Today, the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism announces an open call for applications to join the department as hospitality and welcome staff.
Applications for greeters and entertainers, whose primary duties will include welcoming guests into the territory at airports and cruise ports, are available at the department offices:
- St. Croix: 321 King Street, Frederiksted
- St Thomas: 2318 Kronprindsens Gade
“The territory’s greatest asset is our people, and we are looking for the best and the brightest Virgin Islanders to represent our home and be a welcoming face to the world,” explains Assistant Commissioner of Tourism Alani Henneman.
Ideal candidates must be at least 18 years of age, interested in the hospitality industry, flexible work schedule, and working knowledge of the territory. In addition, all applicants must have a valid business license and be fully vaccinated. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
