U.S. Virgin Islands Announces the Performance Line-up for 2025 St. Thomas Carnival Village Featuring Kes the Band, Shabba Ranks, Pumpa, and Pressure Busspipe
St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands (March 25, 2025)— The U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism and Division of Festivals is pleased today to announce the 73rd Annual St. Thomas Carnival Village performance line-up.
The highly anticipated six-free Village Nights, headlined by global dancehall superstar Shabba Ranks and international soca superstar Kes, will kick off on Monday, April 28.
“This year’s St. Thomas Carnival is going to be at another level,” exclaims USVI Department of Tourism Commissioner Joseph Boschulte, “We’re excited to continue bringing global talent to our islands and showcasing local talent too. The Village Night performers reflect the continued influence and growth of our territory’s three carnivals.”
Pressure Busspipe, Adam O, Th3rd, Star Martin, Mic Love, Temisha, Shaw HP, and Spectrum Band are among the performers who will take center stage to represent the U.S. Virgin Islands.
“These annual celebrations are so special because they showcase the best of Caribbean culture and honor the shared heritage and rich traditions that unite us all,” said USVI Division of Festivals Director Ian Turnbull, “Our goal every year is to authentically highlight Caribbean artistry and talent for everyone experiencing the festival.”
Dominican bouyon band Triple Kay, merengue sensation El Blachy, and Trinidadian soca star Voice will provide a cross-cultural immersion of sound, highlighting the diverse musical interests of residents and visitors in the territory.
On Thursday, May 1st, J’ouvert will feature Virgin Islands breakout star Pumpa and Vincentian soca star Skinny Fabulous, followed by a Wet Fete with performances from B-Squad, Quan, and Sisa.
