Golden hour on St. John looks different from the water. Our Sunset Kayak Tour puts you on a tandem kayak from the Cruz Bay beach launch, right next to the passenger ferry dock, timed for the last light of the day. After a quick on-beach demo, you'll spend about 80 minutes paddling the coastline with a CPR-certified local guide. Tandem kayak, paddles, life jackets, and a dry bag are all included. The tour runs 1.5 hours total and starts at $49 for adults (ages 13+), $39 for children ages 7 to 12. Kids ride tandem with an adult, and there's a 500-pound combined weight limit per kayak. An easy way to close out a beach day with something a little different. Book online to reserve your spot.

Want real photos of your St. John trip, the kind with you actually in them, taken by someone who knows the island's best backdrops? Our private photo shoot tour is built for exactly that. A professional photographer and guide take you along a curated scenic route around St. John, working the shot list for you instead of handing you a selfie stick. Round-trip transportation from your hotel, villa, or the passenger ferry is included, and you go home with high-resolution edited photos rather than a memory card to sort through yourself. The tour runs 3 hours and starts at $129 for adults (ages 13+), $99 for children 12 and under. A good option if you want real proof you were here, not just another beach selfie. Book online to reserve your spot.

If you'd rather explore St. John's water on your own schedule, we rent the gear for it. Snorkel gear (mask, snorkel, fins, inflatable vest, a St. John snorkel map, and a fish ID card) rents for $12 a day. Kayaks rent for $220 a week and stand-up paddleboards for $200 a week, both with paddle, life jacket, and a car-top carrier included. Pickup and drop-off is at Mongoose Junction in Cruz Bay, so there's no hunting for parking. This is the option for guests who already know how to kayak or snorkel and want to set their own pace and route along the coastline. Rent online or call us at (340) 779-2155.

Maho Bay is one of the best-known spots on St. John for finding sea turtles close to shore, and it's a different location from our North Shore tours. Our Snorkel With Sea Turtles tour starts with an easy beach entry at Maho Bay, and your guide leads you to the spots where turtles are most often seen grazing in the seagrass. Snorkel gear, a life jacket, bottled water, and full instruction are included, so beginners are welcome. The tour runs 3 hours and starts at $99 for adults (13+) if you make your own way to Maho Bay, or $139 with round-trip transport included from Cruz Bay. Kids ages 7 to 12 are $59, or $99 with transport. A solid choice if turtles at Maho Bay specifically are what brought you here. Book online or call us at (340) 779-2155.

If you're comparing snorkeling tours on St. John, the fullest version we run is the Best of St. John: Kayak, Snorkel and Beach Picnic. You'll paddle the North Shore around Lind Point, stop to snorkel with sea turtles at Scott Beach, then continue on to snorkel the reefs near Honeymoon and Solomon Beaches. The day wraps with a picnic lunch under the coconut palms at Honeymoon Beach. The tour runs 5 hours and starts at $169 for adults (13+), $139 for children ages 10 to 12. It includes kayak and snorkel equipment, life jackets, a picnic lunch, water, and a nature guide who is CPR and First Aid certified. Good for beginners and families with kids 10 and up. A good pick if you want kayaking, snorkeling, and a beach break covered in a single day. Book online or call us at (340) 779-2155.

Honeymoon Beach at Caneel Bay is one of the most searched spots on St. John, and it's easy to see why: soft sand, calm turquoise water, and shade right at the tree line. Our Hike and Sea Turtle Snorkel Adventure gets you there the scenic way. You'll hike the one-mile Lind Point Trail through Virgin Islands National Park, with a stop for photos overlooking Cruz Bay and St. Thomas, then spend time snorkeling the calm, clear water right at Honeymoon Beach. Restrooms, picnic tables, hammocks, and a casual beachside restaurant are all right there once you arrive. The tour runs 3 hours and starts at $99 for adults (ages 13+), $69 for children ages 2 to 12. No prior hiking or snorkeling experience needed, guides handle the pace and the instruction. If Honeymoon Beach is already on your list for this trip, this is a good way to get there with a guide who knows the trail and the water. Book online or call us at (340) 779-2155.
