Kings Quarter Hospitality and Hotel 1829 created and are sponsoring St. Thomas Restaurant Week to showacse the culinary excellence of the island. The event runs from Aug. 16-31. Lavalettes at Hotel 1829 and over a dozen other restaurants will each offer a prix fixe menu of their choosing for brunch, lunch or dinner. Diners get the opportunity to sample the flavors of the island and assist the local restaurants during a typically slow time of the year.
